Meet Dr. Daniel Very

As a specialist with more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Daniel Very has the opportunity to affect the well-being and confidence of his patients on a daily basis. Education and Experience
Dr. Very is a 1984 graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988. Following a residency program in advanced general dentistry at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center of Pittsburgh, Dr. Very entered a private dental practice and joined the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh as an instructor of oral medicine and oral diagnosis. In 1994, he completed a three-year orthodontic specialty training program and received his orthodontic certificate and his Master of Dental Science degree.
Dr. Very was fortunate to receive his education at top universities and now has experience as well. He leads by example at Very Orthodontics, embodying our commitment to knowledge, dedication, professionalism, and compassion.
Continuing Education
By implementing the latest knowledge and techniques in his clinical practice, Dr. Very is able to provide the most advanced orthodontic care for his patients. He is active in the American Association of Orthodontists continuing education lectures and programs, as well as the American Dental Association, International Association for Orthodontics, Ohio Dental Association, and the Corydon Palmer Dental Association.
Family and Community
Dr. Very and his wife Laura have been married more than 30 years. They met as students at the University of Notre Dame and both attended the University of Pittsburgh Dental School. They have been blessed with a beautiful family that keeps growing. Their three children are all married and have given them two grandchildren.
Dr. Very and Laura spend most of their time with their children and their families, as well as their extended family. Dr. Very personally enjoys reading, exercising, gardening, the outdoors, and taking family trips to Stone Harbor, New Jersey.
Commitment to the community is at the heart of Very Orthodontics. Dr. Very generously sponsored the Very Orthodontics Smile Cove play area for many years at the Eastwood Mall. The play area featured an anti-bullying theme and was designed with many fun activities in mind for the children.
